There has been no official word from any official horseracing entity to explain the fact that the progressive dividend declaration on this popular bet has been frozen on the first leg.
That opening leg was the third race run on the Friday programme and it was run shortly after 13h45.
In the light of all the conspiracy theories floating around, and the general lack of empathy and interest shown in the punting public and lifeblood of the game, this complete lack of official response or good service ethic is just what we have come to expect.
It is just not good enough – despite the half hearted ‘apology’ issued three and a half hours later.
