Newsflash: Bookies -Tellytrack: Ray Of Light

A ray of positivity

A ray of positivity

In breaking news just reaching our offices, it has been reported that the Gauteng Gambling Board have ordered that the status quo regarding Bookmakers costs of receiving Tellytrack feed be restored to the position as it existed in September 2013.

This decision amounts to the first glimmer of hope for the turf accountants who were dealt a blow with the imposition of costly new tariffs by Tellytrack lare last year.

Bookmakers have been fighting to ensure that they could continue to receive the Tellytrack broadcasts and objected to an increase in costs for receiving the broadcasts, deemed to be unreasonable and without due authority.

Watch this space for further news.
