New Foals 2007 |
Jet Master colt out of Fine Feather |
The "Big Boy"
We have two really super new foals to share with your readers.
Firstly a a super flashy colt by Jet Master out of our 7 time winning mare Fine Feather. He is typical of his sire and stud master at Arc En Ciel, Craig Carey rates him very highly saying that he is one of his best foals! He calls him affectionately “Big Boy”
We also have a very strong robust filly by Silvano out of our Elliodor mare, Ahwahnee. Lofty at The Alchemy says our mare has been very good having produced 5 super foals in a row and this filly is exactly what one would want from the mating!
Thank you to the staff at both studs for foaling down two awesome specimens.

Dynasty foals
are turning heads
John Freeman has kept us informed about Dynasty's foals.
And those that have them are impressed. John Slade at Maine Chance says that he has a big rangey colt out of a slabby little full sister to Tarn Fairy . He also has a Dynasty filly out of Tachina (by Spectrum out of a Fairy King mare) who was born nice and has always been attractive and well made. “Very impressed with her – the mother’s a neat little mare and this foal is really good”.
Dr Jim Antrobus raves about his big strong colt out of his Rakeen mare Saint Isidore born last year.
Mike Sharkey told us during the August sales that Wynand had called to say that he had foaled down a spectacular colt out of their maiden Diesis mare Die Strand.
Duncan Barry, one of the most level headed and understated guys one can meet in this game, tells me that he foaled down “a real smasher, the nicest foal I have seen in 2 or 3 years . She is far better than he ever expected this maiden Fine Edge mare of Mario Texeira’s to produce. Good quarter, deep girth and a great head and eye”. Duncan says he is expecting another Dynasty next month out of his Jallad mare who is a half sister to Resolution Bay.

Count Dubois foal
They say there is nothing more honest than a 2yo and nothing more beautiful than a well made new born foal. What excitement. This 12 hour old Count Dubois colt belonging to Laurie and Jean Jaffee, and "is the nicest I have seen for some time" says Veronica Foulkes.
