MOGOK

The racing future of dual SA Gr.1 winner Gypsy’s Warning appears to hang in the balance after she injured herself last week in a freak accident.
Owned by Team Valor International and Green Lantern Stables, the Mogok filly, known for her flighty behaviour, became spooked and flipped over while being washed at the Classic Mile training center in Ocala, Florida. As she tried to get to her feet, she caught her legs on a nearby railing and became ensnared, thereby causing injuries to three of 4 ankles.
Gypsy’s Warning was a Gr.1 winner at two and three in SA. Successful in the Thekwini Fillies S at two and the SA Fillies Classic at 3, she ended her local career with a 3rd-pl effort behind Zirconeum in the Gr1 Woolavington 2000 at Greyville

Mogok Relative Makes $2.4 million
Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum snatched up the AP Indy colt out of Group 1 winner Denebola - full sister to Mogok - on the first day of the Keeneland Yearling Sale. Blood rarely gets bluer; this pedigree features the likes of Coup de Genie, Machiavellian, Exit To Nowhere, Bago and further back Northern Dancer. This well made sturdy looking dark bay is the first foal from Denebola, who was named the highweight 2yo filly in France in 2003.
