July Scratching – The Wife’s In!

Trophy Wife gets a run as first reserve

VDJ New Stake_520

Rabada has been scratched from this year’s Vodacom Durban July by trainer, Mike Azzie.

Trophy Wife – justice done

Reason:  Insufficient recovery time  Time:  07:41       Date:   29 June 2016)

That means that  No. 19 Trophy Wife is now a runner with S’manga Khumalo being declared the jockey.

we all knew this was going to happen. anyways trophy wife has no chance due to her slow starts..Case in point being Free My Heart who once beat the Mighty Jet Master used to start slowly and run from the back and he couldn’t win the July

  2. Bee says:

Rabada was never going to run in both races Khamalo was just waiting for his mount to get in which should not have been left out in beginning

Are there any locals out there who have an idea about the expected weather forecast for Saturday ?

I would love it if there was a serving from heaven.

Oh, and let’s not forget the availability of copper cables from Telkom and generators for the Tote.

lots of chicanery in SA racing! 2 Jooste horses, both scratched under questionable circumstances. If you’re the biggest owner in SA racing, you call the shots!
