Callan Murray Debuts Early

Callan Murray, Wicked Sensation, Park Kilmore, Monday, 12 December 2016

Callan Murray finishing 4th on Wicked Sensation

Callan Murray may only have arrived in Australia late last week, but SA’s Champion Apprentice has hit the ground running.

When Lindsay Park Stables‘ reserve runner Wicked Sensation got a last minute run at the Park Kilmore country course on Monday, 12 December, there was no hanging about.  Despite expecting a few more days to find his feet, Callan found himself with his first Australian riding engagement, aboard the 3yo Bel Esprit filly in the 1462m Buds And Branches F&M Maiden Plate.  Callan justified his backers and got his campaign off to a good start, finishing less than half a length 4th.  Well done, young man!
