Tote Error – Hollywood Makes Good

Thursday evening - Race 1 at Chelmsford

South Africa’s leading bookmakers Hollywood have made good for their customers after a Tabonline blunder declared the incorrect result for the first race at Chelmsford on Thursday evening.

The official result as per all the overseas sites and viewed during the race was 7 – 1 – 5 – 6

Tabonline somehow declared the result as 7 – 1 – 5 – 8, with the Quartet pay out of R 5 477 – which was the total pool.

Hollywood has taken the decision to pay Quartets  on the correct result 7 – 1 – 5 – 6, as well as the official results and dividends declared by Tabonline of 7 – 1 – 5 – 8.

Hollywood are in the process of crediting clients who have been affected.

Saftote were approached for a comment. Any response forthcoming will be published.

  1. James George says:

If the dividends were declared in error we should not be seeing “Saftote were approached for a comment.”
It should read,”On checking results with our commingled partner, which is done before the ‘All Clear’ is declared,it was found that the 4th place result was incorrect. This was immediately rectified”Saftote Press statement in La La Land News.
