Reminder: Stars Out At Gallops Today

Kenilworth hosts big names

Do It Again, winner of this year’s Vodacom Durban July, will be in action this morning when trainer Justin Snaith will gallop him at the Kenilworth racecourse.

2018 Vodacom Durban July winner, Do It Again

The four-year-old gelding has been rested since winning the July. He has earned R3,307,500 in eight starts, with four wins and three places.

Joining Do It Again for a gallop at Kenilworth will be Snowdance. This Captain Al filly was also last seen in action on July Day, when she was narrowly beaten by Redberry Lane in the R1-million Grade 1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes over 1600m.

Snowdance boasts four wins and four places from eight starts in her career and stakes earnings of just over R2-million.

The two are scheduled for a gallop at around 7am.

Two Vaughan Marshall-trained heavyweights will also be galloping at Kenilworth before the races on Sunday.

Unbeaten One World will be there

One World, unbeaten in four outings, and Tap ‘O Noth, with four wins and five places from 10 starts, are scheduled to gallop at around noon. Both these Captain Al colts were last in action on 6 October.

While the gallops will be recorded and broadcast as part of the build-up to Sunday’s race meeting, punters are invited to go to the track early to see them live in action.

The morning gallops offer lovers of horseracing the perfect opportunity to see thoroughbreds being exercised.

Sunday’s gallops will feature not just some of the top horses in the country, but also the champion trainer. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
