South Africa’s leading bookmakers Hollywood have priced up on the Classic Day features to be run at Turffontein on 2 March.

The Gauteng second legs of the SA Triple Crown and SA Triple Tiara respectively headline the programme on what promises to be a day of high-class horseracing action.

The return match between PE darling and Gauteng Guineas winner National Park and runner-up Hawwaam is set to be a highlight of the R2 million Gr1 SA Classic – although Soqrat, winner of the Cape Guineas alternate Triple Crown first leg, is the current 18-10 favourite.

Hollywood have Hawwaam  priced at 5-2 with National Park around 7-2.

    Hey William. I reckon if one fancies Soqrat, surely Barahin will be right next to him. This off course if you don’t believe in the 2nd run after a lay off ‘story’ (like I do) This is certainly a race day to look fwd to — Once the Jocks are declared, I reckon the betting will be adjusted. Certainly looks a MdK Trifecta at least…..
