Kabelo Does SA Proud

Winning Form sponsored apprentice holds his own

Winning Form-sponsored SA Jockey Academy third year apprentice Kabelo Matsunyane flew our flag proudly when he finished in fourth place aboard  Egeria, trained by Christophe Plisson, in the Future Racing Handicap at  Chantilly Racecourse on Sunday.

Unfortunately Kabelo’s mount in the second  Apprentice Race was scratched.

The race was won by Espione, ridden by French apprentice Thomas Trullier.

Matsunyane jetted off to France last Wednesday  to contest the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars held at the Chantilly Racecourse.

He travelled  under the guidance of National Jockey Coach Robert Moore and South African Jockey Academy Principal Graham Bailey

It has been a terrific first year in the saddle for the young man who only posted his first career winner on Thursday, 7 June 2018 at the Vaal on the Craig Mayhew-trained Heywot.
