To ensure that the 2020 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate remains an all-inclusive event, the organising team are rewarding loyal racing customers with free entry to the 2020 festival via their loyalty programme.  But hurry, there are only 12 meetings left to secure your ticket!

The loyalty programme, which launched on 1 October, enables anyone attending 12 or more race days at Kenilworth Racecourse before the end of 2019 to qualify for a ticket worth R350 to L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate day on Saturday, 11 January 2020.

How to qualify?  Simply procure a loyalty card from Clinton Theys in the Pocket Power room on the second floor at Kenilworth Racecourse and have Clinton stamp your card at every meeting you attend.

The Cape Summer Racing Season is in full swing and with local and visiting trainers vying for features such as the Cape Merchants and Concorde Cup on 23 November, Cape Fillies Guineas, Green Point Stakes and Southern Cross Stakes on 14 December and the Cape Guineas and Gr2 Premier Trophy on 21 December, there has never been a better time to go racing.

Once a minimum of 12 stamps have been collected, redeem your card for your free 2020 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate ticket.  Then simply select a blue and white outfit and make your way to Kenilworth for a sumptuous day’s racing!

The Queen’s Plate is South Africa’s most prestigious weight-for-age mile.  Run under the sponsorship of L’Ormarins since 2006, the event, with its elegant blue and white theme, has grown from strength to strength and is proud to have been voted one of the world’s best race days.  The L’Ormarins team and Kenilworth Racing look forward to extending a warm welcome to all racing enthusiasts on 11 January 2020.

Keep an eye on the press for hospitality options as well as news about an exciting new addition for 2020.
