Hats off to Hayley – if we can’t get Frankie she’s a “jock” local racing fans love and she must be the first invited next year.
Glad to get some of my rugby losses back by supporting the country of my birth.

  3. Deezo Snyman says:

Excellent exhibition that lacked a competitive edge. International jockeys on holiday and our local jocks more excited to mingle. It should not really be called an international jockey challenge because the top jockeys in the world are not present and our best local jockeys are not chosen on merit.

  4. Donald says:

Is it now policy that female jockeys are no longer taken into the S.A.J.A. at Summerveld ?

They and the operators must have spent a pretty penny on gearing up for the training and the providing of facilities for female jockeys which seems to have come to an abrupt halt some 5 years ago now !

Her polished rides were a pleasure to watch.
As for the tipping services, well you could not said it better. Why do we have to put up with the ramblings of Kevin Shea and his sidekick Warren. The two went on about nothing and took up valuable time and drastically reduced Sheldon’s inputs to 2 minutes for the 4th race at Greyville yesterday. We were deprived on his insight and he basically had to go straight to his selections.

GTV should become more creative and bring in people who can add value to the viewers. Perhaps Hollywood should step in and remove these two or replace them with a professional individual or team who can add value. Perhaps bring in Anthony Delpech.
