Muzi To See Specialist

Fears that old injuries may have flared up

Popular Northern Cape champion jockey Muzi Yeni  was discharged from hospital late on Saturday evening after injuring himself in a fall at Turffontein in the afternoon.

The Winning Form-sponsored jockey will not be riding today and Monday, and is scheduled to see a specialist tomorrow.

There are concerns that old injuries to his back and shoulder have flared up again.

Muzi thanked all his fans for the concern and well-wishes.

He is carded to ride Atyaab for Mike de Kock in the Gr1 Summer Cup on Saturday.

He commences his 90 day suspension the following day and is expected back in the first week of March 2020.
