Please post the stipes report and which stipes were on duty today asap as the the objection in race 3 was the worst i have ever seen and have zero doubt if the original winner was a hot favourite and lost the race there would have been a riot on course …There is no ways beyond reasonable doubt that glamorous scandal would have beaten the winner as she had every chance to go past crystal stream.

      The Stipendiary Stewards on duty:
Mr R Hutcheson (Race Day Chairman
      Deputy Chief Stipendiary Steward)
Mr G Foxcroft, Mr L Nhlapo, Mr A Hoffmann (Trainee)
      They reported:
From approximately the 300m, GLAMAROUS SCANDAL (P Strydom) was carried out significantly by CRYSTAL STREAM (K Zechner) which hung out from the 450m.
A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board which was followed by an Objection lodged by Jockey P Strydom the rider of GLAMOROUS SCANDAL placed second against the winner CRYSTAL STREAM (K Zechner) on the grounds of intimidation and interference in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the respective parties, was of the opinion that the result had been affected by this incident. The Board took into consideration the significant ground that CRYSTAL STREAM carried GLAMOROUS SCANDAL outwards. Furthermore, the Board after reviewing the side-on angle of the patrol film, felt that GLAMOROUS SCANDAL continuously made up ground while being carried outwards and after suffering interference at the 200m, GLAMOROUS SCANDAL lost momentum but gained ground on CRYSTAL STREAM in the concluding stages and would have finished ahead of CRYSTRAL STREAM. Therefore the Objection was upheld and the Judges result amended.

And of interest from the fifth race:
Jockey W Kennedy was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck MARSHALL FOCH more than twelve times in the entire race. Jockey Kennedy signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R3000 was imposed. When assessing the penalty, the Board took into account Jockey Kennedy’s recent record with regard to this Rule and Guideline.

Hilton you are 100 % correct . It is the most blatant (*edited) I have ever witnessed. If they ran another 2000m the second horse would not have beaten the original winner. Isn’t that the law , would the horse objecting have beaten the winner of the race. These idiots that run the game want to know why they cant attract new people , this is why . Stipes Inconsistency is not the word. You guys should hide your head in shame , I hope there is a internal investigation into this decision and they must get found out . They do what they want and no one is accountable. I would love to know where that stipe is that made that outrageous decision a few years back with the Azzie horse and I think mr Ferraris horse . Prob on the board somewhere .What a joke (*edited) . Carry on the game is in dire. Disgusted

On the positive side, the trainers that do engage helps a lot. MDK said each way chance for Oscar Wide ( Lerena’s skeptism aside ) and Mr Zackey’s confident remarks on Lyntes legacy got me the exacta…R 168 !! thats a ridiculous payout…..nice. It does make a difference even if you choose to ignore it…..Oscar Wilde did win damn well even with the strange type of race that it was….
