Comedy Of Errors – Or Not Funny?

Is the NHRA in control?

The NHRA are under the spotlight again as host James Goodman and his guest Wonder Water’s Louis Goosen pick apart the racing regulator’s latest saga on the Winning Ways Show.

“My whole point is how things are done? Are they done correctly?” asks Goodman.

“There appears to be no research and they didn’t do their jobs properly. And what happened to the cobalt and caffeine positives?”

    Hi Colleagues
Just needed to know if V Moodley is safe and sound. Never hear or seen him comment in a while.

and then we have the betting operator….

It’s bad bad bad. Look at Gaynor Rupert’s race-day head line banner & appeal to the racing futurity :

    LQP – LETS QUIT PHUMELELA

You got to give Louis Goosen his due, he’s one of the few licenced members that has the balls to speak out about issues regarding the NHA. What he says is 100% accurate, this latest press release is simply not good enough to emanate out of the offices of any regulator of any industry it is so amateurish. Who issued it? What is the background to this potential problem? Are there pig feed positives in the system as we speak?

What Goosens comments do do however, is place the NHA in a very difficult position regarding the possible steps they could take to sanction. Should they decide not to summon Mr. Goosen for a chat to explain his clear infringing of the draconian 72.1.26 rule, this will result in this rule becoming redundant in future, as any future 72.1.26 charge could only be seen as vindictive and/or selective. Then again, taking the shameful NHA application of charging members under this rule previously, perhaps it will be business as usual at the circus.

Winning ways would gain a lot more credit from viewers if it hosted debates such as the above with people from both sides of the discussion and not just the anti nhra and anti phumelela brigade..Also maybe Mr Goodman will have the guts to have a go at his employers gold circle one day unless he has not got the guts to bite the hand that feeds him ..Maybe bring the topic up if gold circle tv has the best qualified presenter and host in Mr lenferna or was this appointment done via nepotism and jobs for pals..Surely the self same Mr goodman is well qualified to do this important presenting job as compared to Mr lenferna ..If gold circle are serious about increasing tote turnover they surely are not going about the right way.

  5. Steve Reid says:

Tell you what Hilton, why don’t you even out things and get yourself onto the show. I’m sure James Goodman would love to have you there and you can educate some of the anti NHA and and Phumelela mob like myself as to what we are missing. I am sure it will be great entertainment and for sure Rod McCurdy would love it, he’s brassed you as an armchair warrior.

  6. MGram says:

I think James Goodman has every reason to be anti-NHA and any reasonable person would understand this. It is refreshing to witness in this arena of PC and fear of telling the truth. Well done James and Paul keep up the good work.

    Larry Quits Phumelela

M rReid i was invited on the show to have a go at both the nhra and phumelela but when i mentiond to Mr Goodman i would be having a go at his employers gold circle as well he withdrew my invitation ..Secondly all im saying is make the discussion balanced by having someone who can answer to the anti nhra and anti phumela comments otherwise winning ways is behaving just like when we have a show on tellytrack where larry or whoever gets interviewed but nobody is there to contest their statements ..

  9. Steve Reid says:

Mr Witz lets do a threesome I’m down in December

  10. Pops says:

What position does Mr. Goodman hold at Gold Circle?
