Not everyone’s favorite surface, but the correct decision πŸ‘ good early call

  2. Frankie says:

Frankie Zackey…Quick thinking by Hollywoodbets and Gold Cirlce well done guy’s …It now gives us about enough time to do our homework for tomorrow… almost a slip up already..take note Computaform users that in Race 2 no 7 Captain Of Colour is a filly had it been the old format she would be No 10…this new format is a waist of time not if but or maybe if you a serious form studier add at least 3 onto the card…Graeme Hawkins God help you if my wife calls for a divorce πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

    Hi Guys
Whose “Brilliant” idea was it to couple the draws and the numbers of every horse. This is not conducive to form studying where they are in order of weight allocated.
Please revert to the normal style as found in other centres !

if you guys are bored then try to figure out the inconsistencies of the polytrack and why trainers and punters don’t like its “form”

  4. Pragasan Archary says:

One of the reasons the polytrack was introduced, is to stifle punters.

  5. Dick Adcock says:

Which has now been abandoned, so much for our ‘all weather’ tracks. Don’t see many meetings abandoned at Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Southwell, irrespective of the time of year, They race at Flemington in Melbourne after and during periods of torrential rain. Often get the impression that decisions whether to race locally or not are just symptomatic of the incompetence governing SA racing.

  6. Donald says:

The new draws are a marketing exercise demanded by Hollywood who now run horse racing , cricket and who knows what is next in K.Z.N. !

It would not come as a surprise to me when it is announced that Durban will now be known as Hollywood – Durban !

  7. Brucie Bonus says:

Jealousy will get you nowhere !!

If it were not for Owen Heffer, his tenacity, true grit and his company Hollywoodbets the racing industry in KZN would die altogether along with thousands of livelihoods which would ultimately put these workers on the street.

If Owen and Hollywoodbets had not injected millions and millions into saving the sport of Kings in KZN – Greyville and Scottsville race courses would become derelict just like Clairwood Race course has suffered after being sold prematurely some years ago.

On the contrary, you should be thanking and praising the likes of Hollywoodbets for their tenacity in striving to save, not just horse racing but all sports in KZN that need capital injection to further the sports and you should not criticize without doing your due diligence !!

You obviously do not understand business or the mechanics of business and obviously in your case – A Little Knowledge Is A Dangerous Thing !!

Three cheers to Owen and Hollywoodbets and so what !! if Durban is called Hollywood Durban, that would mean prosperity going forward.
