Kenilworth Stands Alone Today

First off at 13h20

While it’s no Met day extravaganza, Kenilworth is now the national stand-alone meeting today after Turffontein was rescheduled earlier.

An eight race card is programmed with the first due off at 13h20. The first is the Bipot opener.

The track conditions are recorded as good, with the pen listed as 21 on the straight and 22 on the turn.

The false rail is 2m out from the 1800m , with a 4m spur at the 600m mark.

Well done Ossie Noach, these jockeys are just as good, if not better than the high and mighty

  2. Dickson Threefor says:

We must have the thickest jockeys in the world or they must be prevented from speaking to each other in the jockeys room.
Anton Marcus has only a few rides today and he went to the front and stayed on to win. Not one jockey tried to lead from pillar to post or try to defeat his tactics. Pierre Strydom did the same for a while when the central provinces jockeys realised that they were looking like fools. To much respect is being shown to Anton Marcus by his fellow jockeys while riding. They seem not to understand that horse racing is a competitive sport and that respect is shown off the race course and not on it. Watch Anton Marcus do the same tomorrow in Kwa Zulu Natal. At least the Durban Jockeys try a little harder and use their muggings more than the Cape jockeys. The coastal riders seem to prefer feeling the wind in their hair than that winning feeling.

  3. Frankie says:

Frankie Zackey…His the Godfather Dickson…Don’t dare challenge him when Anton decides on going to the front 9 out of 10 put the number in the frame…anyway we needed the all 3 to arrive…Time to shout Kevin Lerena home….Come Kevin smack him out the ring brother…No Mercy Blood
