SA Racing’s Damning Bill Of Health

How did we allow this to happen?

We all knew it was coming but pretty much like continuously putting on weight and not stopping, it only hits home when you see the doctor.

Joao Da Mata of SABOAT writes in the Sporting Post Mailbag that a glance at the programme page for the ‘first meeting’ back on 1 May at Fairview shows the reality of SA racing going forward.

That’s unless we do something about it ourselves and not rely on the new inner circle replacing the old inner circle.

It is effectively the doctor’s notes and it has now hit home and should for all of you. We are racing  for tuppence.

It is a scandal of the highest proportion and a sad reflection of what we have allowed to happen.

Have you seen the stakes the poor guys at Flamingo must race for

  2. Jim says:

What you dont understand is it is not about who runs the show anymore . the fact is the business model is broken and has to be replaced, until phumulela is delisted and a different funding model is derived nothing will change.
