In the second half hour they engage with Business4SA’s Economic Stream head Martin Kingston on why South African organised business is calling for an immediate opening up of the Lockdown from Level 4 to Level 2.

Sorry.At 13.00

The current audio offensive from the industry is starting to remind one of “His Master’s Voice”.
Hopefully for all involved the bite will be as efficient as the bark.

Frankie Zackey…
apologies for using this platform to post my story..I’ve just arrived back from my local city shopping centre,,after doing 2/3 hours of shopping which normally takes me 45 min max before we went into lock down,,shoppers were shopping like it was the last day before Christmas,,thousands were cruising around the centre with no gloves and no masks what happen to Covid-19 …. now if that is the case why the hell can’t we race,,if one does the maths and follows the Covid-19 rules,, how many people will attend a race meeting ? 300 max including grooms and knowing that we’ll be under stricked rules with cameras all over the show and being live on TV… NO BOY’S ‘s THIS IS BULLDUST,, WE NEED TO RACE….oh before I say my good bye’s I managed to buy from the car guard a carton of camel filters for R1400 including Cyril Ramaphosa VAT and a bottle of Johnnie Black for R950 Go your biscuit,,can’t wait for my filly and my 2 colts to get home to start the braai

Well said Frankie, it’s a mess , saw a guy buy cigs from a chaps boot at Centre near me and it cost him R 800 for some RG crap and he said it’s available all over but the cost is madness

Hello Frankie. Careful, never know if Covid Police reads this, and remember, everyone knows Frankie Zackey…
Geez, the Jhb South Car Guards even charging vat, surely you didn’t tip them as well. ?
Hang in there, we’ll be racing before month end, but bets online ?
Stay Safe ?
We are all trying to be positive in light of what appears to be some good movement in the industry but this on / off / on again / off again / could be / maybe / no / yes / not yet / is not helping the industries cause in any way and is fact causing negative sentiments due to misinformation / incorrect information / no information ?
May I suggest that the MOD appoint an industry spokesperson as soon as circumstances permit to avoid all this confusion to enable the racing public to all understand what is meant to be understood in respect of information from the industry at large from an appointed entity !
Well said, Donald
Hello Rian, end of May. Only 2 weeks to go. Our beloved game is in the news a lot, even Molly’s Business Day.
Pmb same story, geez the crowds, but army is around, they were camouflaged before. Until we made the news of being ‘Not Good Listeners’
Luckily we don’t have a beach, then you get arrested.
My gut feel, Scottsville will host the 1st meeting ?
Where is CJ – take that 12-1 on DIA , July nr 3 ….
Stay Safe good people ?
MOD should appoint Larry.
Master of Disaster
