Miller Team Are Bullish Today

'Seoul is our best on day - just a wide draw!'

Mike Miller (r) and Sterling (white coat) with Tom Callaghan and Herman Brown Snr

We are all in the dark about fitness levels of the various runners at Hollywoodbets Greyville today. But one stable who have put their heads down and say none of their charges will need the run is the Mike Miller Racing Stable

“All horses are fit and well – Sterling (Miller, Mike’s son) has never been this excited to race since his matric dance!”

That was the word from the yard when Gold Circle’s Warren Lenferna spoke to them yesterday.

Here are their individual runner comments:

  • Race 1: HARDWIRED:

Is working exceptionally well. He is drawn better of the two runners and I am hoping he will finish in the first three and can go close. GREEN PHANTOM: Has got good form but has a high draw and will have to come from off them.

  • Race 2: QUE-TEE:

Is improving but in an open race – she is fit and well and we would be happy with a first four finish.

  • Race 3: GIGGIN:

Is unfortunately in an open race – we will see the better of him over a little further. include in larger quartets.

  • Race 4: SEOUL:

Is an interesting runner. I feel he is our best on the day and one of our better juveniles – just a pity drawn the widest. If he was drawn well, would possibly be hard to beat. Keep an eye on this one.

Race 8: MR MINISTER:

Loves Hollywood Greyville and the 1200 poly – she does have a bit of a heavy weight and high draw to deal with – I would be happy if she finished in the top four.

Race 10: GREAT SHAKA:

Has dropped in the rating – minus the claim he still carries 64! He is absolutely flying at home and the only thing that can stop him is the weight.

The first race is off at 11h30!
