Lot 53, William Longsword colt.

  • Lot 9 c. Vercingetorix – Polar Trip

A well-made athletic colt by Vercingetorix who looks to be an early type. Compact and muscular, oozes quality.

  • Lot 24 c. William Longsword – Spirited (IRE)

It is hard to believe this son of William Longsword is a November foal. He is a strong solid chap. Muscular with a good shoulder and has a no-nonsense, workmanlike presence look about him.

  • Lot 32 c. Querari (GER) – Adorable

By Querari, a champion sire of 2-y-os, from a group-placed dam by a champion sire of 2-y-os, this half brother to impressive debut farm sale Winner Kommetdieding is bred on an outstanding cross and has the looks to match.

  • Lot 53 c. William Longsword – Fort Belvedere

This is a really good looking son of William Longsword who will attract plenty of attention. He has a beautiful, big stride and just looks the part. He is just going to keep getting better.

  • Lot 57 f. What A Winter – Guiding Light

The rose among our thorns, this filly by What A Winter has an incredible temperament and generous eye. She puts her best foot forward every time she steps on to the track. She will just keep on improving.

The sale, renowned for its high-profile winners and a return on investment, will be staged online in partnership with Gavelhouse.com on Sunday, 29 November.

For the first time, this year, the auction will include 93 unbroken two-year-olds which also qualify for the RTR race, as well as 12 lots in a Mixed Sale Section.

As per custom, potential buyers had the opportunity to watch the pre-trained entries gallop, at  Durbanville Racecourse on Monday 16 and also today ( Friday 20 November), preceded by a champagne breakfast, and were open to all.
