Once again the small trainers and small owners don’t count because racing is captured by the big owners and trainers. So racing on Tuesday was cancelled because the big owners and trainers needed to have their big day so all the small owners and trainers horses didn’t have to race. Now today they just abandoned the meeting, I understand the reason why they can’t race because the safety of the horses and jockeys is important but no effort to save the meeting or move the meeting because it isn’t important, Maybe the people that run racing think small owners and small trainers horses cost less to feed or less to look after because they treated like they not wanted in the game and Mr Patrick Davis wants to cry the population of horses is down. Because money doesn’t grow on trees to feed horses who can’t even get to race and earn stake money. So in 5 years time when racing is elite and only for the big boys it will be amazing to watch just like Cape Town with their 5 runner fields. Good luck because you guys are so naive and think that racing is run only for the wealthy minority. No punters are going to even want to play or watch racing when the fields in joburg become like cape town and have 5 horse fields because the small owners and trainers were forced out of the game.

Sign up at Betting World Sea Point Cspe Town (previously subsidiary of the now defunct Phumelela) This branch will be cosed on Sundays .!!!! No consultation with punters ,no prior warning just an A4 sticker on the doors. So much for the statement of intent.from 4Racing..From experience statements of intent come with a lot of razzmatazz and hot air .It’s putting the plan into operation that counts .Can we get some comment from 4RACING through you Mr Ed?
