Monday marked the last day of the Males National Championships 2024 where Ekurhuleni became victorious in the senior A teams and Tshwane took position one in U23 A.
The tournament was held at the Ellis Park Outdoor Courts in Johannesburg from September 26 to 30.
This year’s tournament had 67 teams competing across Senior A, B and Under 23s divisions.
The teams were drawn from 52 districts across the country. While the A teams fought for the trophy, those who finished in the top three in the B division were also awarded medals on Sunday.

NSA’s president Cecilia Molokwane recently said she believes the record participation of 67 teams across various divisions underscores the sport’s growth.
The Championships served as a crucial platform for national team coaches and selectors to identify talent for the FAST5, senior national and Under-23 teams.
“With a number of players already shortlisted for South Africa’s FAST5 team, the tournament offers a chance for others to shine and earn their place on the national stage,” Molokwane said.
“The FAST5 Netball World Series is scheduled for 09 and 10 November this year at the Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, New Zealand.”
