Azzurri Could Be Onside Today

First due off @ 12h25

Racing returns to Hollywoodbets Kenilworth under glorious sunny skies today.

The first on the day’s nine-race programme is due off at 12h25.

There are four feature events on the card.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this racemeeting.

La Pulga from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable can give punters a good start to the day. He made the expected natural improvement when second over 1200m.

He showed good speed that day before getting outrun late by Worldly.

The son of Pomodoro is a progressive type, and in this field, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Lucinda Woodruff sends out Azzurri in the lucky last and he represents decent each way value. He may not have seen out the 1800m last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

He takes a drop in class and will love the return to the mile. It is encouraging that Grant van Niekerk retains the ride and he may be the one to side with in afield decimated by scratchings.

Please note that Ashton Arries and Robert Khathi are not riding today.
