He showed good speed that day before getting outrun late by Worldly.
The son of Pomodoro is a progressive type, and in this field, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Lucinda Woodruff sends out Azzurri in the lucky last and he represents decent each way value. He may not have seen out the 1800m last time.

He takes a drop in class and will love the return to the mile. It is encouraging that Grant van Niekerk retains the ride and he may be the one to side with in afield decimated by scratchings.
