BIPOT launches on Friday

TAB have introduced a new exotic bet with effect from the Fairview and Turffontein night meeting on Friday 15 November 2013.

The first and second placed runner in the designated six races at the meeting will qualify for a dividend.

The BIPOT was phased out years ago, when it was run only at the Vaal. Older punters will note that the bet is similar to the old Quinpot which was run in the Western Cape, but then  over only  five legs, in years gone by.

The new bet is designed to fill a gap between the Place Accumulator and Pick6 and will, as a rule, commence in the race prior to the PA first leg.

Couplings and the first timer rules do not apply.

The Fairview and Turffontein night meeting BIPOT pools on Friday will be launched with a R50 000 carryover each.

The bet unit is R1 and fractional betting will apply. Minimum bets are R6.

The existing betmark forms in the Cape and KZN may be utilised, but due to Amtote technical issues, the bet will have to be instructed verbally, for the time being,  in Phumelela regions.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
