Captain Al Stallions – Shares For Sale

Few remaining sire lines of Roberto still remaining

Four stallion shares have become available, and will be sold after the CTS Mare and Weanling Sale to be held at Kenilworth Racecourse on 24 June 2022.

Three shares of Captain Of All, and one share of William Longsword, will come under the hammer.

Both sires are by former star stallion Captain Al, one of the very few sire lines of Roberto still remaining.

Captain Of All

Captain Of All (by Captain Al), the multiple Gr1 winner and Equus Champion Sprinter in 2014/15, was champion freshman sire in 2019.

His line is a great out- cross to Northern Dancer and Mr Prospector. Captain Of All has proven, in just a few years, his ability to produce classic horses.

He has already sired top sprinters and stayers, including Linebacker (Gr1 Cape Derby and Gr1 Daily News), Gr2 Fillies Nursery winner Springs Of Carmel, Gr2 Dingaans winner Shango, as well as Captain Lannister, Captain Ann Bonney, What You Are, and recently Gr1-placed, Captain Bombshell.

William Longsword has been stamping his progeny in exactly the same way Captain Al did.

A Gr1 winner from a Graded-winning international family, he has enjoyed a good start to his stud career with lightly-raced Dyce (already a Gr2 winner), top quality up-and-coming sprinter Coin Spinner, consistent Listed performer Safe Return, and promising runners Voldemort, Pineapple Express, Hasta Manana, Bon Vivant and Remember When.
