Corrie Can Saddle Another Winner Today

The first is off at 12h00

A nine-race programme is set for the Vaal this afternoon. In-form trainer Roy Magner saddles nine horses with a couple of decent winning chances and he may be the man to follow.

The first is due off at 12h00.

After saddling a Gr1 winner on Saturday, trainer Corrie Lensley sends out Orarari Gold in Race 2 and she looks to be the best bet on the card.

Corrie Lensley – another chance of a winner today

She produced an eye-catching debut effort over 1000m on the Classic course, and despite showing up green in running, managed to finished her race off well. The daughter of Oratorio would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra 100m on offer.

With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the horse to beat.

Seemyvision from the Roy Magner yard takes her place in Race 6. She finished 2.1 lengths behind Before The Dawn last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Three of her six career victories have come over this course and distance.

She runs well for Brian Nyawo and can notch up her seventh career victory.
