De Kock & Moodley Can Open The Card In Durban

First 3 races on turf - balance on polytrack

Racing takes place at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon into evening.

We are spoilt this month with a Turffontein night meeting, headlined by the Listed Summer Pudding Handicap, rostered for Friday 15 November.

The first three races at Hollywoodbets Greyville today are on the turf with the last five races on the polytrack.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge with the first due off at 15h35.

Trainer Mike de Kock sends out Flying Hafla in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day.

She ran a good race when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. It must be noted that Warrior Royale has come out and won again since.

The daughter of Vercingetorix should love the rise to 1800m.

She has cracked a good draw of three and should be the one to beat.

Porfirio from the Kumaran Naidoo stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. He finished 2.1 lengths behind Bom Bom last time.

He is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He tries the 1900m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can notch up his fifth-career victory.
