Fairview Friday – No Rain But Moved To Poly

Please note surface change

Fairview – turf to poly (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Friday’s Fairview racemeeting has been moved from the turf to the polytrack. That despite no rain.

The National Racing Bureau have advised that despite no further rainfall it was found that certain sections of the track are inconsistent.

As a result the decision has been made to move the turf meeting to the poly.

4Racing’s Gail Rieder told the Sporting Post that the decision was made as a result of inconsistent penetrometer readings. This is probably related to water tables.

Hollywoodbets have confirmed that fixed odds betting is null and void, while tote bets will stand.
