Fairview Launches The Month-End Week

Golightly could be best on a tricky card

The new week starts with an eight-race programme at Fairview on the polytrack.

The first is due off at 12h25 and the lucky last is set for 16h20.

Trainer Alan Greeff saddles Golightly in Race 6. She was an easy winner of her last start over this course and distance.

The manner in which she quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was eye-catching. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight meets a similar type of field and should notch up her fifth career victory.

Gavin Smith could end on a high with Princess Of Winter (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Princess Of Winter from the Gavin Smith yard may be the horse to close off the meeting. She is better than her last start as she was reported to be fatigued. She has finished second once and third three times from as many starts over this trip.

Warren Kennedy steps back into the saddle and she can notch up her third career victory.

Please note that jockey Luyolo Mxothwa is not riding today.
