Attie Could Find Winning Ways Again Today

The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h20

Eight races are scheduled on the turf at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon.

The main event of the day is Race 7 on the card which is the Listed Dahlia Plate for two year olds.

The first race is due off at 12h35.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Zietsman Oosthuizen sends out Atyaab in Race 5. He is much better than his last start in the Gr3 Caradoc Gold Cup.

He has won three times from six starts over this distance.

He is likely to have his own way in front in this type of field and should be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Gavin Smith sends out Jungle Promise in Race 3. She is a 2yo taking on older rivals.

She has shown good improvement in each of her outings to date. She took on winners last time and stayed on nicely to finish third.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Redoute’s Promise is back against maidens and can shed her maiden tag.

Jungle Promise will run with blinkers on today.

The false rail is 3m of zero to the 1200m mark, increasing to 8m to the 800m mark with an 8m spur.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h10
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h45
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h20
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h55
