Fairview Pick 6 Banker

A great day of racing ahead

Racing takes place at Fairview Racecourse on the turf this afternoon.

Eight races are scheduled including the Listed Milkwood Stakes and the Non-Black Type Fairview 1400.

The first race is due off at 12h35.

Luke Ferraris rides Santa Therese in Race 5 today for the Alan Greeff yard (Pic- Chase Liebenberg)

Alan Greeff sends out Santa Therese in Race 5 and she looks to be the Pick 6 banker on the card. She has top form to her credit.

She was ultra-impressive when winning the Listed Breeders Guineas last time. The daughter of Flower Alley returns from a well-deserved 12-week break.

She takes on some hard-knocking older horses today, but has plenty of ability and should be up to the task at hand.

Run Florist Run from the Sharon Kotzen stable takes her place in the lucky last. She was her own worst enemy last time as she overraced in the early stages.

She has won once and finished third once from four starts over this distance.

The daughter of Elusive Fort is back against her own sex today and if switching off early, she should run a big race.

Sandile Mbhele will not be riding today with the stipes permission.

The false rail is 3m of zero to the 1200m mark, increasing to 8m to the 800m mark with an 8m spur.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h40
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h15
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h50
