Prontissimo? Trained by Terence Millard and owned by Laurie Jaffee.

    1. Robyn Louw says:

Spot on – well done Glynis 🙂

    1. Robyn Louw says:

      Hi Jim,

Thanks – I left part of the name there deliberately. Last week had everyone so stumped, I thought I’d try and make it a little easier this time.

  3. perd says:

    1. Robyn Louw says:

Correct 🙂 Well done Perd !

Prontisimo by Liloy out of Prontisima by Pronto
He had three really great battles –
Running third to Spanish Pool and Bodrum in the Queen’s Plate as a three year old.
Winning the Guineas in a tremendous battle with Clean Break (probably too soon after the Quenn’s Plate)
Being pipped by Yamani in the Classic – where the altitude and maybe extended trip over 1800m might have caught him out

Tremendous horse and exceptional two year old that won as he liked.
I’d liked to have seen a lot more of the mares he left go to Rambo Dancer

  5. definately Felix in the irons. all white wjith Black diamonds and red sleeves highlights one of the the greatest owner colours ever, London News, Illustrador, Prontissimo as seen above, Faralmond………………let me stop there as the list is enormous……………..goodone, now how about something like Sun Tonic, Bahadur, Gigantic, Lightning shot, Sentinal, Harry Hotspur…………..be old, be bold !………………………..maybe Sledge ?

  6. Lets see who is quick enough to react to the ” Illustrador ” colours, ???????

  7. Harold says:

Correction Robyn. He finished only a head second to subsequent Queens Plate winner Yamani. Failing to catch him after Yamani appeared to have the race sewn up.

    1. Robyn Louw says:

Harold – my profuse apologies! I had the winning distance as 2 lengths rather than 0.2 lengths.

I have corrected the post accordingly.

Many thanks for setting me straight 🙂
