Crawford Can Make An Impact Today

The first race is off at 13h00

Kenilworth is the standalone local meeting today and eight races are carded.

The first is due off at 13h00 and the lucky last is set for 17h05.

Trainer Brett Crawford saddles Red Impact in Race 1.

Brett Crawford – can saddle winner of first today (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

He has produced two good runs to date. He showed good speed over this course and distance last time, but was caught in the latter stages by Iconic Destination.

The son of Red Ray is a progressive type and in this small field, he should take a power of beating.

Fly To Rio from the Greg Ennion yard takes her place in the last race. She finished 2.75 lengths behind Arctic Ice last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She shows good speed in her races and should give the males a run for their money.
