GTH Team Concept Makes Debut

The first race is off at 18h05

It is the first Global Team Horse Racing event which takes place at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the turf track this evening and eight races are carded. The first is due off at 18h05.

Dennis Drier saddles I Like It Hot in Race 1 and she should get punters off to a positive start. She showed good speed in her last start over this distance on the polytrack, stayed on but found one too good in the form of Russian Doll who has come out and won again since. The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and from pole position, she may be hard to peg back.

In-form trainer Lorenzo Karriem sends out Rodriguez in the lucky last race. He has shown good signs of a form return in his last two starts over 1400m. He lost a length at the start last time and was awkwardly placed at the 1000m mark, but stayed on nicely at the finish. The son of Twice Over takes a drop in class and if jumping on terms, he is capable of winning in this line-up.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 18h05
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 18h23
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 18h45
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 19h03
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 19h21
