Injured jockey Gunter Wrogemann came out of surgery at 12h00 today. He spent 4 hours in theatre, which was much longer than anticipated.
The Anaestheologist reported the operation went well.
A report is awaited from the Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr Kourie.
The road to recover has now commenced and Gunter will remain under heavy sedation for the next few days.
Thanks to Samantha Wrogemann for the update
