KZN Racing – Monday Slot Moves

Important changes to programme for this week

With Hollywoodbets Scottsville having received close on 100mm of rain, the prognosis for racing there on Wednesday is extremely poor and Gold Circle has made the decision to abandon this meeting.

Instead, the race meeting which was scheduled for Hollywoodbets Greyville tomorrow Monday 23rd will be postponed to Wednesday 25th  May.

Close on 200mm of rain has fallen over the City track and there has been damage to the stable area and the jockey room which will need attention before racing can go ahead successfully and safely.

A reminder to all stakeholders and fans that the race meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday 25th May will go ahead as planned under lights on Friday night 27th May, with the Daily News 2000 race meeting set to take place as scheduled on Saturday 28th May at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

In summary, racing goes ahead in KZN this week as follows:-

  • Wednesday 25th May – Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack – postponed from Monday 23rd.
  • Friday Night 27th May – Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack – postponed from Wednesday 25th as per previous release.
  • Saturday 28th May – Hollywoodbets Greyville Turf Track – the Daily News 2000 race meeting.
