Listen To The Sound Of Summer

First race is off at 12h20

Turffontein plays host to an eight-race programme today.

The first is due off at 12h20 and the lucky last is set for 16h30.

Paul Peter sends out Sound Of Summer in Race 7 and he is the best bet on the card.

He is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance. The son of Silvano will strip a much fitter horse today and can return to winning ways, with the scratching of Willow Express easing his path.

Miss Soho from the in-form Ashley Fortune stable takes her place in Race 2. She showed some improvement in her last start over 1000m on this course. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish suggests that she will enjoy the extra 160m on offer.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate returns to maiden company and she may have more to come.

Please note that Jeff Syster is a fully qualified jockey.

J Greyling is not riding today.
