Marshall May Hold Derby Key

Hollywoodbets Scottsville plays host to a ten-race programme today. There are two feature races, the Gr2 Track And Ball Oaks and the Gr3 Track And Ball Derby. The first is due off at 11h20.

Senso Unico from the Vaughan Marshall yard runs in the Gr3 Track And Ball Derby.

He ran a fair race when finishing fifth in the Gr1 Daily News 2000 last time.

The son of Twice Over will be at home over 2400m.

He is the best weighted runner in this contest and on his peak run, he should take a power of beating.

Dennis Drier saddles Botz in the last leg of the Pick 6. He finished 0.85 lengths behind Letaba last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights this afternoon.

He gets the blinkers fitted which will keep his mind on the task at hand. The son of William Longsword is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He has plenty of scope and is the horse to beat.
