Newsflash: Jet Dark Won’t Run On Saturday

People's horse must be fancied to go very close

Justin Snaith has scratched the top-class Jet Dark, an entry in the 2023 WSB Cape Town Met, from Saturday’s R500 000 World Sports Betting Gr2 Green Point Stakes.

Snaith reported that his charge, who ran fourth behind Seeking The Stars in the same race a year ago, suffered a ‘minor injury’ after stumbling while being worked by Richard Fourie on Thursday morning, and is under medication.

The traditional stepping stone into the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Summer Festival Gr1 events is now mostly at the mercy of the popular Kommetdieding, priced up as 12-10 favourite, ahead of Golden Ducat (11-2) and Linebacker (8-1).
