Does not appear on Netflix – has anyone else tried

Hi Beatle, the series is being streamed via its own website (www.legendsoftheturf.com). There are full instructions on how to download it in the interview.

In Full Flight made his first racecourse appearance at Greyville and it was a winning one. Ridden by Australian jockey George Davies he accounted for the Herman Brown trained charge Full Stretch who had already raced previously and had gone down narrowly in his only start.Full Stretch opened very short in the opening betting but his supporters were left with their tickets as the well supported In Full Flight came home easily with what was to be the start of a star studded career. As a matter of interest George Davies had ridden Full Stretch in his only start and besides turning out to be a true champion , Davies I am sure had his own opinion of the outcome of the race.

      Interesting Selwyn, thanks

George Davies and I were personal friends and after winning the Clairwood Easter Bonnet Nursery in 1971 where he beat his future to be arch enemy, Sentinel, he was adamant that In Full Flight would win the 1972 July. George is one of the best judges I have come across in the game and his words proved to be spot on , In Full Flight came home 1st ahead of Kings Guard and Pedlar.Unfortunatly for George, Raymond Rhodes was aboard that day and it always brought back bitter/sweet memories when ever we discussed the race. A really nice bloke that went back to Australia many years ago.His son , Stephen later became a top jockey in Australia , following in his father’s footsteps.

    Thanks Robyn
