R1 650 000 Up For Grabs

First is off at 11h55

Racing returns to Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon and nine races are carded.

This meeting represents another great opportunity to win big in the free-to-enter Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge.

The jackpot bonus for the player/s that select all winners on the afternoon is R1 650 000, with a R10 000 must-be-won prize payable in terms of the rules to the top 20 players on the leaderboard at the end of the day.

The first is due off at 11h55.

Gimme’s Laddie from the Dean Kannemeyer stable takes his place in Race 3. He produced a promising debut effort over this distance on the polytrack. He was slow into stride, but finished his race off strongly.

The son of Gimmethegreenlight was reported to be coughing that day. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Kumaran Naidoo saddles Sir Pom in Race 8. He was not disgraced when finishing fifth over this course and distance against stronger company. He has won twice and finished second once from six starts over this course and distance. The son of Pomodoro takes a drop in class and if putting his best foot forward, he can return to winning ways.

Warren Kennedy is not riding today.
