Racing 240 Gets Behind Hollywoodbets Durban July Build-Up

The 2022 Hollywoodbets Durban July showpiece!

South Africa’s national horseracing channel, Racing 240, will host two live expert panel discussions this week as part of the build-up to the showpiece 2022 Hollywoodbets Durban July.

In a media release issued on Monday, Racing 240 said they they will cover Tuesday’s live final fields and Barrier Draw announcement at 11am, which will be analysed by an expert panel, hosted by leading international race commentator Alistair Cohen.

Panellists will include six-time South African champion Piere Strydom, who at the age of 56 will return from a career-threatening injury and a semi-detached retina in April 2021, to saddle up for this year’s July on Justin Snaith’s 2020 July winner, Belgarion.

Other panellists are another veteran jockey in Johnny ‘Johnny G’ Geroudis and Gauteng trainer Shaylen Naidoo.

Racing 240 will from Thursday at 7am provide extensive coverage of the July Gallops at Hollywoodbets Greyville and host a panel with live analysis led by Weighted to Win anchor, Clyde Basel.

The Gallops panel will include trainer Adam Azzie, 4Racing tipster and racing analyst Germaine Maharaj, and seasoned racing expert James Goodman.
