Tarry Quells Cape Move Rumours

'Randjesfontein is my home'

Trainer Sean Tarry has quelled rumours that he will be relocating to the Cape.

After the closure of the Paul Peter yard who had their last runners on Saturday, Highveld Racing hardly needs another blow to their training ranks.

The Sporting Post has endeavoured over the past week without success to contact Tarry to confirm the talk of a move to the Cape.

But speaking on social media, he said:

“Cape Town have upped their game and it looks attractive to be there for the season as we always have. And in time to come maybe the establishment of a satellite yard remains a possibility. But Randjesfontein is my base and we have always done well and been able to attack other centres from there. So I’m not going anywhere,” he concluded.

Tarry is undergoing a rationalisation of his yard via the Sean Tarry Fast Track Sale, set to take place in the Bull Ring at the Randjesfontein Training Centre on Friday 23 September.

The catalogue is made up of attractive black type fillies, several Gold Rush candidates, BSA added stakes candidates and some exciting unraced prospects.
