Include Justin’s 50-1 Shot Today

First race is off at 12h00

No seconds? Justin Snaith provides the public with his thoughts on his runners today (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

The Snaith Racing Team travelled to Fairview with one runner on Friday and were spot on when pointing Sporting Post readers in the direction of Dancingtothelight who duly won the last race.

Racing is at Hollywoodbets Durbanville today and the Snaiths report that the weather has mostly cleared in Cape Town as they look forward to getting the season into full swing.

Justin goes through the Hollywoodbets Durbanville card below:

  • Race 1:

– Dawn Till Dusk is in solid form and will fight it out.

– Elsinore is expected to need his first experience and will be green on debut. He’ll take a run or two before settling down and produce his best.

– Spare has improved a lot back home. Must be included in all bets at 14-1.

– Contonou also shouldn’t be ignored at 14-1.

  • Race 2

– Alex Dubois will be very inexperienced on debut. She’ll need a run or two before she gets into her groove.

– Noodsberg has shown fair ability and could sneak into minor money.

– ~One Hellova Party is scratched~

– Wild Applause is a nice filly and should run a decent race first time up. One to follow.

  • Race 3

– Greenlight Dancer has run two fair races to date and will run a similar race with Craig Zackey aboard.

– Hay Fever is a filly with ability and will improve dramatically between runs (and over further).

– Lotus Island ran a fair race on debut and will run a similar race in this field.

– Sheffield Beach is expected to take time to come to hand. She’ll need further to be effective.

  • Race 4

– Ahead Of The Facts is looking for around 2000m so we are not expecting much on debut. Follow when he goes a mile plus.

– Legal Counsel will need a run or two before we see the best of him. He’ll be looking for a mile ultimately.

– Let It Be Said is spot on and a big run can be expected.

– ~Past And Present takes no part~

– War Hawk ran a fair race on debut but isn’t drawn well and hasn’t seen the track in two months. He’ll be dropped in and hopefully will run on from off the pace. Follow next time after this prep.

  • Race 5

– Solartrip takes on winners but is better than his latest run. Include in all bets at 50-1.

  • Race 6

– Eureka Diamond improved a lot last time out but against weaker company. She takes a step up in class and we are hopeful she makes the desired improvement. Include as she’s doing nicely at home.

– Protect The Dream loves this course and must be considered again.

  • Race 7

– Innamorare is lethal over this trip and cannot be left out any bets. Grant knows him well.

– Magic Verse has a horrid draw to overcome and will need some luck. He’s very capable though.

– Steinbeck is well-weighted so could repeat his penultimate run. Include.

-Tout A Fait is scratched

  • Race 9

– William West is improving with each run and has an outside chance so include him.
