Johan Janse van Vuuren saddles Ultra Quick in Race 3 and he is the best bet on the card. He produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on this course.

He was slow into stride and had to be steadied at the 700m mark. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since.

The son of Querari would have come on from the run and should enjoy the extra distance on offer. With the natural progression that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Dancing Arabian from the Roy Magner stable represents some decent each way value in Race 4. She is much better than her last start over 1400m at the Vaal.

She should have finished closer that day as she hung from the 400m mark. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

She has finished second in both her attempts over this distance and can shed her maiden tag.

The false rail is 3m on the back straight and bend with a 5m spur at the 500m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h55
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h30
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 14h10
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h45
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 15h20
