Former outstanding sprinter Quilista topped the second day of the 2021 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale at the Gold Coast today when selling for AU$1 million
An unprecedented AU$68.8 million was traded on 210 lots at a record average price of AU$328,038 – up 59 per cent on last year and double that of two years ago
It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
