Four raiders from Ireland, Japan, France and South Africa are among the 14 selected runners, in the G1 Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup
A sense of déjà-vu surrounded the latest G1 victory by Ambitious Dragon (Tony Millard/Douglas Whyte) as he had a little difficulty in adding the Hong Kong Gold Cup to his expanding resume.
It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
