The aim of the Charity Turf Challenge is to select a team of 10 horses you feel are most likely to score points during the official period of the Champions Season

The chase for valuable points heats up with the Mercury Sprint this weekend, which leads into the Gold Cup on Super Saturday
Saturday was a massive day in the competition with a total of 141 points up grabs in the many feature races which was headed by the running of Africa’s Greatest Horseracing Event the Gr1 Vodacom Durban July
After the second bonus race of the competition only 26 points separate the top 50 and just 30 points between 1st and 100th. Racing fans are guaranteed an exciting finish to this year’s renewal which will go down to the wire!
The second most popular selection in the competition, Majmu, was an unfortunate late scratching in the Gr1 Woolavington 2000
Captain Of All leads the Charity Turf Challenge points log with another big day looming at Greyville on Saturday
The next major point scoring race in the competition will be the first of the Bonus Races, the Gr.1 Tsogo Sun Sprint, worth 25 points to the winner, 14 points for second and 10 points for third. Also featured on the same day at Scottsville Racecourse, Saturday 23 May will be Gr.1 City Of Pietermaritzburg Fillies Sprint which is worth a total of 44 points
The first of the spot prize draws will take place on Friday, 15 May
