The Group 3 Saas Fee is an excellent race for both up-and-coming middle distance horses looking at bigger races later in the year
The Jumbo Jet Trophy highlights a very good days racing and more importantly heralds the start of what is arguably the best two months of racing in Singapore.
There is no doubt MR BIG is in the top one or two sprinters in Singapore.
Barring what looks a very weak Class 5 (race 9), there looks some terrific racing on Sunday from Singapore and some good horses to follow.
WAR AFFAIR might not be an Australian-bred horse but he sure knows how to win races sponsored by the Aussie breeding industry.
It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
There’s lots more to play for!
